MORE than £12,000 has been donated to the #BUYMSH appeal via the online justgiving page with Bella Mani and Santander backing the campaign.

All seven Bella Mani Salons are showing their support for the cause with members of staff taking part in Ayrshire turns red this Friday where schools and workplaces are being asked to wear red and donate £1 to the appeal.

Nigel and Victoria Howard, of the beauty salon are fully behind the campaign to #BUYMSH and have offered to match the money raised in all seven salons on Friday.

Commenting they said: "We are huge supporters of Malcolm Sargent House and want to make sure this new charity care given every bit of help to raise the money needed to buy it back.

"All our girls will be wearing red this Friday and having fun taking part. We hope our customers will give generously and support us."

But campaigners still need to reach at least £200,000 to secure a deposit.

Rhona Devlin, committee members for #BUYMSH APPEAL said: "We are sitting at over £12k on our community justgiving page and would like to thank the overwhelming support from the community.

"We have some fantastic corporate sponsors and donations running parallel to our justgiving page which will see us reaching the target we need."

A new website www.buymsh.com, featuring their yellow graffic, has been set up for donations and more information about the appeal.

It has been designed by Visualize This in Irvine who are huge supporters of MSH and would do anything to help.
