The NATS Centre in Prestwick continues to look to the future to see how they can reduce their CO2 emissions and become more modern.
The centre opened in 2010, and since then it has employed hundreds of people from the local area, and currently supports more than 700 jobs and plays a vital role in keeping our skies safe.
Air traffic controllers at the site can handle up to 3,750 flights a day from all over the world flying over our airspace.
Siobhian Brown MSP visited the centre recently and said: βIt was fantastic to visit NATS in Prestwick today and hear from the team in charge about the rich history of air traffic control in the area.β
