Ayr Rugby Club's P7 squad
A YOUTH team at Ayr Rugby Club has begun a fund-raising campaign to send the team on tour next year.
A tour to Northern Ireland is being planned for the club’s P7 squad in March of next year.
The squad – and their coaches and parents – are planning sponsored walks, race nights and prize draws to fund the trip, and have also launched an online fund-raiser so the players can take part in the tour.
A spokesperson for the squad’s fund-raising team said: “A lot of hard work goes into this, so we are just looking to create the best opportunity for these young sporting people to enjoy their time on tour!”
