Who do you recognise in these photos from 15 years ago?
Talented Mark Mancini, 22, created an award-winning ice cream that saw him strike gold for his double dairy vanilla recipe at the Royal Highland Show. The student was in charge of all ice cream produced at Mancini’s in Ayr during the summer. His father Philip won the same title 12 months ago.
Residents of the high flats in Saltcoats were able to sleep soundly at night after a neighbourhood watch scheme started. The watch would cover the flats at O’Connor Court and Lambie Court.
St John’s Primary in Cumnock held a successful Fun Day with £300 being raised for school funds. Pupils, parents and friends of the school enjoyed a morning with a variety of activities to keep them busy.
Pupils from Girvan, Dailly, Maidens and Scared Heart primary schools took on the role of crew aboard on the 60 foot ocean clipper Clyde Challenger as part of the 10 day trip. They had the chance to see dolphins, porpoises and seals in their natural habitat.
Meet some of the young dancers from Ardrossan, Saltcoats and Stevenston who put on a three night spectacular at the Magnum Leisure Centre in Irvine. The members of the Julie Carson School of Dance staged a magnificent show.
On me head son… Pupils at the Cumnock Academy summer school found some novel ways of keeping fit during gym sessions.
