Ayr residents and visitors have until the end of January to give their views on new parking proposals in the town.
South Ayrshire Council recently published its Parking Strategy for 2020 to 2024, which detailed its aims and aspirations for parking within the area.
The first consultation took place in 2021, with an outcome report presented to South Ayrshire Council's cabinet in 2023.
The local authority is now looking to refine proposals for residents' parking and pay & display parking, which will address long-standing issues concerning visitor and tradesperson parking.
Consultees are invited to review the proposals and have their say on whether they consider the refined proposals to be appropriate and to extend far enough.
Results will be collated and presented to South Ayrshire Council at a later date, along with officer recommendations on how any future schemes should proceed.
For full details of the proposals and to give your feedback, go to the Ayrshire Roads Alliance website.
