A South Ayrshire electrician has been honoured at the prestigious Scottish APSE Apprentice of the Year awards.
Charlie White, an apprentice electrician in the council's property maintenance team, celebrated his win at the awards.
Charlie also won in this category in the UK awards in October last year, which makes South Ayrshire the first Scottish council to win in both the UK and Scotland with the same apprentice
A council spokesperson said: "This is a milestone achievement and we’re really proud of Charlie for his hard work.
"Charlie is pictured with fellow apprentices Ewan McDicken, Nathan Livingstone, and Jordan Brown - congratulations to them all for getting to the final!"
