Police in Ayr say they are stepping up patrols in two parks in town after a rise in complaints of anti-social behaviour.
Inappropriate and inconsiderate driving are among the concerns raised by members of the public using Rozelle and Belleisle Parks.
Officers have confirmed that there will be an increase in high visibility patrols and police will be out on quad bikes patrolling the local parks and surrounding areas.
A spokesperson said: "Police in South Ayrshire will not tolerate antisocial behaviour and anyone involved in criminality, regardless of their age, will be dealt with appropriately.
"If you have concerns within your local community please contact 101 or speak with the officers that are out in patrol. In an emergency always dial 999."
